➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ ELDORA ROAD — A woman said tenants moved and left behind a damaged china cabinet that belongs to the complainant.

▲ SOUTHEAST BULLOCH MIDDLE SCHOOL — A counselor reported a “suspicious incident” that deputies turned over to the criminal investigations division. Capt. Todd Hutchens confirmed Wednesday the incident did not involve threats to the school or individuals. As the case is ongoing, there was no additional information available about the incident.

▲ WOODLAKE TRAIL — A woman said someone broke in and ransacked her home, but nothing was missing.

▲ LAWRENCE CHURCH ROAD — Deputes investigated a reported burglary. No additional information was reported.

▲ MAG DAVIS ROAD — A man reported hearing a loud noise and finding two vehicles damaged, with windows shattered. Deputies ran a check on him and discovered he was wanted in two counties, so they placed him under arrest.

▲ PAMELA WAY — A woman said she was “set up” by a friend and attacked when an offender got out of a car when the friend came to return a pair of shoes.

➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ SOUTH MAIN STREET — Warrants were issued after police responded to a simple assault case.

▲ REGISTER POLICE — A Register police officer sought assistance from Statesboro police in testing a substance he believed was marijuana. It tested positive.

▲ SOUTHERN DOWNS — A person reported a vehicle was entered, but nothing taken.

In a separate incident, officers responded to a reported domestic dispute and reckless driving case, but offenders were unable to be located.

▲ MORRIS STREET — A man was arrested after a physical attack against a woman. She told police he struck and choked her, causing visible injuries. She reported the incident, and when police arrived, so did the offender, who had returned to retrieve belongings. He was charged with aggravated assault/family violence/strong arm and criminal trespass.

▲ SOUTH COLLEGE STREET — Eviction and magistrate procedures were explained to a couple involved in a verbal domestic dispute.

▲ BELK — A person was cited for shoplifting after taking about $290 worth of clothing.
