Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
    U.S. 301 SOUTH – (Statesboro) A woman said in spite of a restraining order, a man rides by her home several times a night and placed letters in her mail box.
    LAKEVIEW ROAD – (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a utility trailer.
    HERSCHEL DRIVE – (Ellabell) A man said someone tried stealing his truck’s battery and tried breaking into his shed.
    BOWEN RUSHING ROAD – (Statesboro( A woman reported the  theft of a computer, printer, and DVD player from her home.
    LANGSTON CHAPEL MIDDLE SCHOOL – (Statesboro) A student ran away from school.
    MINCEY ROAD – (Brooklet) A woman told deputies her mother pushed her.
    BARINGTON COURT – (Statesboro) A man was charged with entering auto.
    SAM TILLMAN ROAD – (Register) A man said someone tried opening a Verizon account in his name.

Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Dec. 13-19.
   •  Animals incoming:
 • Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, rural areas – 14 dogs and two cats.
 • Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, Statesboro city limits – two dogs.
  • Surrendered by citizens - one dog and one cat.
  •  Number of animals in surrendered litter - four puppies and three kittens.
   s  Animals outgoing:
    • Shelter adoptions - two dogs and three cats.
   • Returned to owners - three dogs.
    • Died at shelter - two cats.
    • Euthanized from isolation – nine dogs and three cats.
    • Officer activity:
    • Court summons/citations - nine.
    • Warnings issued- 22.
   •  Money collected:
    • Adoption fees - $175.
    • Surrender fees - $20.
    • Returned animal fines - $75.
   •  Miscellaneous - $75.
