Police report, 9/28/19
A man reported a burglary. Deputies reported the home looked as if it had been ransacked, and the man provided trail cam video of several suspicious vehicles that had been on the property.

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ EUGENE DEAL ROAD — A woman said her son received three calls from a restricted number from someone stating they were outside on their property and around their pond. Deputies responded and found no sign of anyone on the property or pond.

▲ JACKSON ROAD — A woman suffering from “extensive” medical issues told deputies her husband took her Xanax and she had no way of securing her medications. The man admitted having taken her Xanax and other medications for his own pain. Deputies told him Xanax is not for treating pain, but anxiety, and suggested he get his own prescriptions because taking someone else’s is illegal.  He also gave the woman information on seeking help for her husband’s apparent addiction. She did not wish to prosecute her husband for the offense, for which he could have been arrested.

▲ BROOKWOOD DRIVE — A woman reported receiving a scam call from someone claiming to be with the Social Security Administration. The caller threatened the victim with arrest over an alleged vehicle purchase with drugs found, and was somehow connected to her identity. The caller demanded a money card be sent to avoid arrest.

▲ ROCKY ROAD — A man reported a burglary. Deputies reported the home looked as if it had been ransacked, and the man provided trail cam video of several suspicious vehicles that had been on the property.
