A woman received an application for unemployment benefits for which she did not ask. The form included her place of employment and salary. She suspected it was fraudulent.

Statesboro Police Department

▲ HENRY STREET – A woman said her “on and off” boyfriend attacked her and either stole or damaged an EBT card, debit card, clothes, windows, bags, cell phone, wall, wallet, cash and a bottle of tequila.

▲ STADIUM VIEW APARTMENTS – Police, responding to a report of shots fired, deployed a K9 and arrested a resistant suspect.

 

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ PORTAL MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL – A juvenile who threatened another person’s family member was arrested and taken to jail, where deputies contacted the Department of Juvenile Justice.

▲ JORDAN DRIVE – A woman received an application for unemployment benefits for which she did not ask. The form included her place of employment and salary. She suspected it was fraudulent.

▲ VALERO/GROVE LAKES – Deputies responded to a shoplifting report.

▲ CHANNABY COURT – A woman asked that a man be served with a criminal trespass warning for her home. She said he did not complete a fence within the time he promised, and she was keeping his tools in lieu of the work she paid him for that he did not complete. Deputies told her she could not legally do s and gave her information on seeking magistrate assistance. They also served the criminal trespass warning.

▲ Officers issued five traffic citations and one traffic warnings and assisted no motorists Wednesday.

▲ COPPER BEECH TOWNHOUSES – Someone reported harassment.

▲ LOT 13 – Someone reported property damage.
