INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    GOLF CLUB CIRCLE — A man reported the theft of a firearm and other items that went missing while he was on vacation. An investigation led to a suspect named who lived in the home, according to reports.
    HIGHWAY 67 — A mentally challenged woman reported missing was found in Macon and returned safely to her family.
    BUCHAN ROAD — A woman said a neighbor who harrows the road in front of her house reported her property to code enforcement and lets his dogs run freely. She said his actions are harassing in nature, reports stated.
    WOMACK ROAD SOUTH — Family members argued over land ownership, and a woman who lives on the property erected a fence and harasses other family members when they come to tend livestock and other matters, reports stated.
    NORTH TAYLOR COURT — A man came home from jail in spite of his wife having told him not to, she said. He greeted her and the kids, but she refused his offer of a hug and an argument began. The children then went to a neighbor’s, she said. During the argument, the man picked up scissors and threatened suicide, so the woman picked up a gun and place it in her back pocket so he could not get it, she said. The man said he was only using he scissors to cut some paper and would have left but he didn’t know where she had placed his belongings.

Statesboro Police Department
    TOLBERT STREET — Police responded to a simple battery report. The offender was gone when they arrived and they advised the victim on solutions.
    SOUTH MULBERRY STREET — A person reported the theft of $600 from a vehicle.
    STOCKYARD ROAD/GORDON STREET — Warrants were taken for a man after a woman, taken to the hospital with injuries, said he punched, kicked and grabbed her, pulling her hair. The altercation began on Stockyard Road and ended at Gordon Street, she said.
    ED MOORE COURT — A complainant said an unknown man exited a storage unit, and had no permission to be there.
    WALMART SUPERCENTER — A woman reported her car was broken into in the parking lot and someone took eye glasses, a wallet, cell phone, and handbag.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued no traffic citations and three traffic warnings and assisted three motorists.
    WATSON PODS — Someone reported a vehicle stolen, but the incident was listed as “unfounded.”

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
    Last week, troopers investigated 13 crashes with one fatality and four injuries and arrested two for DUI. Troopers also issued the following; three citations and one warning for seat belt violations, two citations for child restraint violations, nine citations and 12 warnings for speeding.
