Police Report 9-15-11; A lawn mower, grill, and birdbath were reported stolen

Arrests
    Saphires Yvonne Edmundson, 34, North Ralph Street, Claxton — theft by shoplifting, possession of a false identification card.
    Jacobi Anderson, 28, Stonehaven Drive — criminal trespass.
    Keith Rayvone Spells, 19, Harvey Wilson Road, Portal — criminal trespass, disorderly conduct.
    Jeffrey R. Spells, 19, Morris Street — criminal trespass.
    Kearstin Kamillia Raymond, 18, Lanier Drive — disorderly conduct, criminal trespass.

Incidents
    WALMART — A woman was caught shoplifting about $100 worth of kids’ clothing.
    EAST GRADY STREET — A woman became angry when her husband would not allow her to use his phone to call her mother, so she went next door to call police.
    SEASONS APARTMENTS — A woman called police to report another woman was beating on her door, holding a knife and yelling obscenities.
    SIMMONS ROAD — A lawn mower, grill, and birdbath were reported stolen.
    PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — Police responding to a report of several suspects with a gun who kicked in a door to an apartment arrested four on criminal trespass and disorderly conduct charges. A sawed off, rusty Remington shotgun was found.

Arrests
    Scott Wesley Johnson, 42, Chance’s Mobile Home Park — child support lockup (failure to pay).
    Jeff Carter IV, 36, John R. Coleman Road, Register — child support lockup (failure to pay).
    Sueleen Hunter, 48, Spring Street — contempt of court.
    Alexander Hill, 55, Johnson Street — child support lockup (failure to pay).
    Reginald Reynard Ellison, 27, Mill Creek Estates — no driver’s license.
 
Incidents
    GREENHAVEN MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) A man said his neighbor hurt his cat. The neighbor said he did not mean the cat harm but it damaged his property and he tried to scare it away.
    BIG BAY BOULEVARD — (Ellabell) A woman said someone threw eggs in her yard.
    U.S. 80 EAST —(Statesboro) Someone has been trashing business property, took a can of Bondo from a car and smeared it on the car, scattered the rest and broke a fence.
    In a separate incident, a man reported copper stolen from a pivot.
    SINKHOLE ROAD —(Statesboro) A 1995 Chevrolet caprice and a car dolly were stolen.
    BLACK CREEK CHURCH ROAD — (Brooklet) A man reported that people have been partying on his property and damaging it.
    INDIGO HILLS ROAD —(Statesboro) A man said his grandson was angry because he would not return money the grandson “made growing marijuana legally in Oregon.” The grandfather said the grandson owed him the money for damaging a vehicle during a previous argument. This time the younger man beat on the elder man’s car and made him fear for his safety.
    WESTBROOKE CONDOMINIUMS —(Statesboro) A woman said while she slept, an unknown man entered her home, took a beer from  the refrigerator, and was found passed out sleeping on the ground outside her home.
    In a separate incident, a woman said someone entered her car and scattered her belongings.
    CASH ROAD — (Brooklet) A man reported the theft of scrap copper.
