NORTH TAYLOR COURT — A man was arrested after a woman said he “backhanded her” during an argument. The man had paid the woman’s phone bill once before and the phone company charged his account with the next bill without his permission. He became angry and confronted her, then struck her.

D&R CAR CARE — A man reported a burglary at this Highway 67 location. Reports did not list items taken.

HIGHWAY 67 — Another person reported a burglary; no details of the incident were available in reports.

BRANNEN FARM ROAD EAST — A woman reported a leaf blower and three gas containers stolen from a utility trailer.

HIGHWAY 119 NORTH — A suspicious person walking down the road was found to have outstanding warrants in Screven County and was arrested.
