A man said his juvenile daughter left without permission, and he located her via a cellphone app at the home of a juvenile male. He said he has had trouble with the boy and his daughter and wanted the boy served with a criminal trespass warning.

▲ STILSON-LEEFIELD ROAD — A man said his juvenile daughter left without permission, and he located her via a cellphone app at the home of a juvenile male. He said he has had trouble with the boy and his daughter and wanted the boy served with a criminal trespass warning.

▲ OGEECHEE DRIVE EAST/BUNNY TRAIL — A woman told deputies employees of a moving company stole some of her property.

▲ WILLOW POND SENIOR CARE/COUNTRY CLUB ROAD — A man found wandering at a nearby store seemed disoriented and said he was from New York. He gave a New York address, and when told he was in Georgia, he said, “That can’t be right.” The man appeared to be suffering from dementia, was exhausted and said his feet hurt. He was taken to the hospital by EMS, and deputies learned he was from the senior care center. It is suspected her may have left the facility during a fire alarm, reports stated.

▲ GRADY JOHNSON ROAD — Officers responded to a complaint of harassing communication.

▲ NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST (STATESBORO MALL AREA) — A woman said a wallet with identification, credit cards and $300 cash was either lost or stolen.

▲ CAMBRIDGE PALMS — Officers responding to a reported burglary in progress identified all parties involved as maintenance employees, not burglars.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued two traffic citations and two traffic warnings and assisted no motorists.

▲ CAMBRIDGE PALMS — Officers assisted Statesboro police on a burglary call, but maintenance staff had been mistaken as burglars.
