Statesboro Police Department
    ST. MATTHEWS CATHOLIC CHUCH — A woman reported the theft of $50 to $100 from her wallet; stating the person who took the cash left some money in the wallet.
    BELK — Two men were arrested for shoplifting $160 worth of clothing.
    HUMMINGBIRD CIRCLE — A woman said her ex-boyfriend harassed her by phone and threatened her with harm.
    SUCCESS COURT — A woman said she was engaged in a physical struggle with an ex-lover. Both were given advice to seek magistrate assistance in taking out warrants.
    GEORGIA AVENUE — Statesboro firefighters responded to a Dumpster fire a witness said was caused by someone throwing lighted fireworks into the container.
    NORTH COLLEGE STREET — An intoxicated man who refused to leave a residence when asked was arrested on public intoxication charges.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A person was caught trying to get a refund for items they did not buy, but took from shelves. The offender shoved an employee who tried to detain them for police, and fled.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    ARCOLA ROAD — A juvenile was arrested and taken to Claxton Regional Youth Detention center after slamming a woman’s head in a door jamb and threatening to stab her. The woman was injured but refused treatment.
    BROOKLET-LEEFIELD ROAD — A woman said tenants left without paying three months’ back rent. They damaged the home and took a microwave oven, she said.
    FERNWOOD DRIVE — A complainant said neighbor’s horses have destroyed a fence. The horse owners said they are moving the animals.
    BURKHALTER ROAD — A woman, arguing with her daughter-in-law, threw a cup of Sprite on her and then pushed her. She was found at a nearby store and claimed she had overdosed on blood pressure pills. She was arrested.
    CLYDE’S MARKET #40 — A woman said another person slapped her in the mouth and threw an unopened plastic bottle at her.
    COWBOY WAY — A man said his son threw a pot of spaghetti on the ground after an argument over a driver’s license. The son and his mother claimed the son accidentally dropped the spaghetti.
    MILLER STREET EXTENSION — The pastor of a church reported an air conditioner had been stolen and the suspects were unsuccessful in stealing a second unit.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued two traffic citations and one traffic warning and assisted two motorists Monday.
    Officers issued five traffic citations and five traffic warnings and assisted no motorists Tuesday.
