STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Stephanie York, 39, Spence Drive, Brooklet - theft by shoplifting.
    Emmanuel Harold G. Garcia, 21, Sterling Creek Drive, Richmond Hill — speeding, marijuana possession.
    Ronnie Venson, 49, Mincey Street — loitering and prowling.
    Stephen Randall Mincey, 21, Cypress Lake Road, Register — DUI.

Incidents
    THE GRILL — A witness told police several people had been fighting at the location and one man fired shots before he left.
    BULLOCH STREET — A suspicious man reported to be lurking near a church was found hiding in the woods, and arrested.
    SOUTH MULBERRY STREET — A woman reported the theft of a laptop computer and an assortment of jewelry.
    KMART — A woman removed price tags from floral pants and tried to leave without paying for them.
    EAGLE GATE APARTMENTS — A couple argued over a man not paying his half of the bills.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Arrests
    Jack Bazemore Jr., 39, Simpsontown Road, Newington — child molestation, aggravated child molestation, sexual battery, sodomy, aggravated sodomy.

Incidents
    SAWGRASS TRAIL — (Statesboro) A man threatened another man, who went inside to call 911. In the meantime, the offender got into a woman’s car, called her a vulgar name and said if she weren’t (female) he would punch her too.
    KYLE SORRELL ROAD — (Clito) A man reported several cartons of cigarettes stolen during the burglary of Jay’s Food Mart.
    WOOD DUCK LANE — (Statesboro) Someone stole a boat.
    OLD RIVER ROAD NORTH — (Statesboro) A woman said her ex-boyfriend slapped her in the jaw and would not stop harassing her.
    OGEECHEE TECHNICAL COLLEGE — A man ripped a woman’s shirt and struck her in the face. Deputies responded and asked the victim to follow them to the sheriff’s office to make a report and write statements, but she did not show up.
    BELL ROAD — (Brooklet) A 78-year-old man who went to dialysis in Statesboro had bruises and a black eye, and after being taken to the hospital, told police his son did it. The son was arrested.
    GA. 24 — (Statesboro) A man was jogging when he felt a sharp pain as a truck passed by. He went home and found an injury and hole in his shirt and believes he was shot with a pellet gun or BB gun.
