STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Angie Lynn Presson, 37, Peg Wen Boulevard – probation violation.
    Eric Worthen, 19, Waller Pass, Swainsboro – seat belt violation, driving without a valid license.
 
Incidents
    MIKELL STREET – A man and woman argued over a trash can being moved.
    SANDY HILL APARTMENTS – Severe damage – windows broken, carpet burned, structural damage – was reported in four apartments.
    PEG WEN BOULEVARD – A woman and her adult daughter argued over money, food and visitation. The daughter was arrested on probation violation charges.
    THE GROVE – Someone stole an Xbox 360, laptop computer and a watch.
    PRESIDENT’S CIRCLE – A man and woman argued over financial matters.
    UNIVERSITY PLAZA – A man grabbed a woman by the hair and threw her to the ground during an argument. He told police she threw a drink on him.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Arrests
    Eugene Brown Jr., 18, Franklin Street, Augusta – no insurance.
    Charles Travis Davis, 31, Brooks Hendrix Road – simple assault, battery.
    Melissa Davis, 18, Brooks Hendrix Road – wanted person.
    Samuel Walter Toomer, 29, Institute Street – probation violation.

Incidents
    YUG’S MARKET – (Ga. 25, Portal) A woman said a man with whom she was traveling struck her several times, then put her out at the convenience store.
    COWBOY WAY – (Portal) A woman said someone stole a Rolex watch, groceries and an assortment of jewelry from her home.
    J.A. HART ROAD – (Statesboro) Someone reported a 14-foot canoe stolen, but later learned it had been loaned to a relative.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
Arrests
    Officers issued two traffic citations Thursday.

Incidents
    Officers assisted one motorist Thursday.
    EAGLE VILLAGE – Officers and Statesboro Fire Department personnel responded to a fire alarm. Investigation revealed there was no fire. The alarm was set off by a construction crew.
    WATSON COMMONS – Two wallets were found. 
    CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER – Officers and Statesboro Fire Department personnel responded to a fire alarm. Investigation revealed there was no fire. A child had activated the alarm.
    CENTENNIAL PLACE – Officers responded to a panic alarm at Centennial Place. It was mistakenly activated by a parent attending SOAR.
    COLLEGE OF EDUCATION – Officers responded to a burglar alarm. A construction crew entered a controlled area to work and had not deactivated the alarm.

    Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Thursday: one to the Bulloch county Correctional Institute and two to Bulloch County  First Responders.
