Police Report 6-8-11 - SPLASH IN THE BORO Purses stolen from vehicles

Arrests
    Nancy Ruiz De Garcia, 25, Rucker Lane — affray.
    Roasline E. Renfroe, 27, Pintail Lane — affray.
    Lavelton Markiee Morgan, 30, Packinghouse Road — no valid driver’s license.
    Erick Ray Halla, 26, Adams Road, Bloomingdale — suspended license, improperly displayed tag.
    Garrett C. Taylor, 24, James Street — marijuana possession.
    Omar Martinez-Vasquez, 38, Vista Circle — aggravated stalking.
    Johnnie Lee Hampton, 45, Inman Lane — simple battery.
    Aaron Washington, 50, Charles Shuman Road, Pembroke — no proof of insurance.
    Jacqual Chaple, 21, East Jones Avenue — driving without a valid license, seat belt violation, too fast for conditions.

Incidents
    DENMARK STREET — Two women were arrested for fighting (affray).
    BUDGET INN — Someone called police to report a woman calling for help after being pushed down and kicked by a man.
    SPLASH IN THE BORO — Three purses were stolen from a vehicle. In a separate report someone shattered a car window and took an undisclosed item. A third complainant said a purse was taken from her vehicle as well.
    UNIVERSITY PINES APARTMENTS — Someone broke in by kicking in a door and took clothing and an Xbox 360.
    EAGLE GATE APARTMENTS — A pregnant woman was taken to the hospital for contractions after her involvement in a domestic disturbance with the baby’s father. In a separate incident a woman said her neighbor spit on her during an argument.
    CAMPUS CLUB APARTMENTS — Detectives are investigating a reported rape. No further details are available.
    NORTHSIDE APARTMENTS — A woman said her ex boyfriend calls her at her job, at home, and comes to her home repeatedly after being served criminal trespass. When he came to her home and banged on the door, yelling for her, she called police. The man denied doing so.
    NORWOOD STREET — A woman said a man grabbed her wrist during an argument.
    ZETTEROWER AVENUE — A man who caught another man breaking into his van told police the offender came at him with a knife. He said the offender chased him in to a building, where he grabbed a weapon. The offender then fled, he said.
    COLLEGE LANE — A woman was arrested for striking a man several times because of his infidelities.
    SHELBY STREET — A man reported china stolen from his deceased grandmother’s home.
    RUCKER LANE — An air mattress, dinnerware, plastic containers and vases were reported stolen. A man said a woman took them when she moved out.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Arrests
    Mark David Futch, 41, Holton Road, Pembroke — bench warrant.

Incidents
    STILSON-LEEFIELD ROAD — (Stilson) A man reported several hoses and lines cut on a semi truck.
    MUD ROAD — (Brooklet) A man reported the theft of gasoline from his farm tank, as well as a truck battery.
    LONGWOOD DRIVE — (Statesboro) A man reported his golf clubs stolen, and he found them at a pawn shop. Investigation revealed his wife had pawned the items.
    D. ANDERSON ROAD — (Register) A woman reported the theft of two rings.
    CECIL CASSIDY ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported two laser levels stolen, and was given a pawn ticket for the items from a suspect’s mother.
