Police report -6-30-16; A man was arrested after he shoplifted a $30 fish tank filter.

Statesboro Police Department
    SCOTCH PINE AVENUE — A man and a woman were arrested after engaging in a physical fight.
    MINCEY STREET-A woman called police after a neighbor told her she found a piece of her mail opened and lying on the steps. The complainant realized she had not received mail in a few days and found that suspicious.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A man was arrested after he shoplifted a $30 fish tank filter.
Also, a person fled after shoplifting about $33 worth of items.
    WEST MAIN STREET — A woman reported being struck several times in the head by a man using his fist and a vase.
    KMART — Three people caught inside the closed store told police they were not aware the store was closed. All three were served with criminal trespass warnings.
    EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — Officers responded to a report of a staff member who was assaulted.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    LEE ROAD — A man said county work crews damaged trees on his property. County officials responded and agreed to rectify the situation and clear the trees.
    HIGHWAY 119 — A deputy stopped and charged an unlicensed person driving on the wrong side of the roadway.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued no traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.
