Police Report 6-30-11 - Officer responded to a domestic argument in police station parking lot

STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests

    Frank McCall, 48, Hawthorne Court — probation violation.
    Antonio Guiterrez, 26, Dawne Drive — driving without a valid license.
    April Christine Berry, 29, Lanier Drive — wanted person.
 
Incidents
    MORRIS HEIGHTS — A man said another man struck him in the face and ribs. No arrests were filed.
    KMART — An internal theft investigation revealed a former employee made several fraudulent refunds totaling about $362. In another incident, another former employee stole $10, a book titled “ Wifey for Life,” and a key.
    PARKERS ENZONE — A Ford Focus stolen from Marietta was found in the parking lot.
    COPPER BEECH TOWNHOUSES — Someone reported the theft of a TV, iPod, Playstation 3, printer and a bracelet from Tiffany’s.
    EL SOMBRERO/FAIR ROAD — A man said he left his wallet in the restaurant, but did not find it when he returned. Upon checking he discovered someone had used his prepaid debit card.
    STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT — An officer responded to a domestic argument in the police station parking lot. One offender was cited or a traffic infraction, but none were arrested.
    EAGLE GATE APARTMENTS — A woman said she and her girlfriend argued over ownership of a bicycle after a breakup.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Arrests

    Eduardo Aguilar Garcia, 20, Cypress Lake Road — no driver’s license, no insurance, suspended registration.

Incidents
    MIDDLEGROUND ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a white Chevrolet 1500 van. He said the van was being used by an employee who has not shown up for work for several days. The employee’s wife told the complainant her husband took TVs and clothes as if he were leaving town, and then he disappeared.
    LANGSTON CHAPEL ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported a tenant moved and left behind extensive damage to the home he rented.

    UNIVERSITY VILLAS —Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person knocking on doors.
