Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    Michael Dewayne Shaw, 26, Highpoint Road — felony bench warrant, giving false information.
    Mark Anthony Lynch, 44, Moore Road, Portal — suspended license, no insurance.
    Justin Keith Taylor, 35, Church Street — purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana, possession of drug-related objects.

Statesboro Police Department
    Ross Lemar Rainey, 23, Holly Drive — DUI.

INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    GREATER MT. MORIAH CHURCH — A pastor said a person attended Sunday services, then posted a social media video that appeared to threaten church members and the church grounds.
    HERSCHEL DRIVE — A woman reported the theft of a trash can.
    HAGAN MILL POND ROAD — A woman said her uncle came into her room and attacked her, striking and choking her. Her mother told deputies the argument was over the way the victim spoke to her, the mother and sister of the offender. No injuries were visible and the offender was not there, so the victim was given information on obtaining warrants.
    DOY NEWTON MOBILE HOME PARK — Deputies were called about a man who was disorderly, fighting with everyone at the residence. The man agreed to leave.
    CYPRESS LAKE MOBILE HOME PARK — A woman said her live-in boyfriend made threatening gestures with is body, as if he were going to grab her, during an argument over what he told deputies was “this and that” and “business in Statesboro.”
    LEE AVENUE EXTENSION — A man and woman broke up and she said he stole her tablet. He told deputies he would leave. but not until she gave him his house key, and he denied taking the tablet. The tablet was not in his car or on his person.
    HIGHWAY 119/POPE ROAD — A woman said her husband “put his hands on her” while she was inside a vehicle in which they were riding, and then forced her out of the vehicle.

Statesboro Police Department
    BRIARWOOD ROAD — Officers responded to a call about two residents of a home fighting physically. No arrests were made.
    WAL-MART — A woman was arrested after being caught “huffing” compressed air from a can. After an officer observed the 51-year-old woman inhaling fumes from an “air duster” can, she was taken into custody, treated by EMS and then jailed.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued five traffic citations and two traffic warnings and assisted one motorist.
