Police report - 6-28-15; Euthanized at animal shelter five dogs and 28 cats.

Arrests/Citations
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

    Phillip Hugh Smiley, 47, Bethel Church Road — possession of drug related objects, prescription drugs not in original container, possession of schedule III and IV controlled substances, cocaine possession. 

Georgia Southern University
    Jeffrey Evan Segerman, 20, Knight Drive — underage alcohol possession.
    Anna Marie Willecke, 18, South Main Street — underage possession of alcohol, possession of false ID.
    Trevor James Rowland, 18, Chandler Road — marijuana possession, failure to maintain lane.

INCIDENTS
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Wednesday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Georgia Southern University
    RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER — A woman reported seeing four men attack another. She did not get a tag number to the car in which the offenders left, and police did not locate them.

Metter Police Department
    ROUNTREE STREET — Police responded to a simple battery complaint June 16.
    NORTHEAST BROAD STREET — Someone reported a burglary June 17.
    METTER MINI STORAGE — Police responded to Theater Street for a report of burglary and criminal trespass.
    WILOW LAKE DRIVE — June 18, someone reported a battery incident.
    SOUTHEAST BROAD STREET — Someone reported a theft June 18.
    JONES STREET — June 21, police investigated reports of child molestation.

Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of June 13-19;
    Surrendered by citizens — five dogs and 16 cats from rural county; three cats from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by officers — 23 dogs and nine cats from rural county areas; five dogs and two cats from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter — four dogs and six cats.
    Reclaimed by owners — four dogs.
    Died at shelter — no animals.
    Euthanized — five dogs and 28 cats.
    Fees collected — $655
