STATESBORO POLICE
Arrests
    Nicole Catherine Mulazzi, 42, Ga. 67 — failure to maintain lane, DUI.

Incidents
    WEST GRADY STREET — A woman threatened several times, during a span of hours, to kill another.
    PLATINUM LOUNGE — A woman said another woman struck her in the back of the head with a beer bottle. Police noted a raised knot on her head.
    THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN — Someone reported a laptop computer stolen.
    MULBERRY STREET — A man said another male took $60 from his car when he gave the man a ride.
    WALMART — A woman shoplifted DVDs (including a DVD about Greatest Heroes of the Bible), clothes, jewelry, Cheetos, motor oil and a Sunday school sing-along CD.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Arrests
    James Carles Lee, 56, M.P. Martin Road, Brooklet — DUI, failure to maintain lane.
    Jamie Eric Beasley, 33, Bill Brown Road, Pembroke — DUI, failure to maintain lane.

Incidents
    OLD DILL ROAD — (Portal) Someone stole engine blocks, crank shafts, motor heads and other scrap metal.
    LAKE COLLINS ROAD — (Portal) A woman said her husband’s nephew borrowed a vehicle and did not return it, but may have taken it to his home state.
    CHESTNUT OAK LANE — (Statesboro) A man said a neighbor returned checkbooks that were missing from his car and claimed he had found them near a mailbox. The neighbor later returned and said he had not been truthful, that the checkbooks had been found near his father’s vehicle.
Another man on the same street reported his car had been entered and papers were stolen.
    WOODSHOLE CIRCLE — (Statesboro) Several residents of the street reported automobiles had been entered and ransacked. Pliers were stolen from one vehicle.
    CANVASBACK COURT — A rental car was stolen and left near a farmer’s field, with windows shattered. Also, another vehicle had been forcibly entered.
    TROPHY COURT — Three people reported vehicles entered, items scattered but nothing — including purses and contents left in some cars — was stolen.
    MORNINGDOVE COURT — A wallet, checkbooks and $95 were stolen from a vehicle.
    BUCKSHOT COURT — Someone entered a garage and broke into a vehicle. Nothing was reported stolen.
    HUNTERS POINTE DRIVE — A wallet and $10 were stolen from a vehicle. A laptop bag was removed and left in a neighbor’s yard. Another resident of the street reported $27 and a wallet stolen from his car.

Arrests
    Bruce Shannon Bradford, 42, Brookwood Drive — speeding (68 mph in a 45 mph zone), DUI (.122).
    Stephen Andrew Maenpaa, 25, Brampton Avenue — DUI (.193).

Incidents
    Friday through Sunday, troopers issued four seat belt citations, one child restraint citation, 13 speeding citations, investigated five crashes with five reported injuries, stopped 61 vehicles, issued 18 speeding warnings, performed one road check, assisted four motorist and patrolled 1,203 miles.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
Arrests
    Officers issued three traffic citations Friday, four Saturday and seven Sunday.
    Richard William Ericson, 20, Wendwood Drive — DUI and failure to maintain lane.
    Andrew Francis Flanagan, 20, Burkhalter Road — DUI and failure to obey a traffic control device.
    Julien Raymond Verdon, 20, Greenbriar Apartments — underage possession of alcohol and possession of a false ID.

Incidents
    FRIDAY — Officers issued four traffic warnings, responded to one alarm, responded to a report of an injured person at the RAC, assisted Statesboro police with a call and investigated one accident.
    SATURDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted one motorist, responded to one sick person call and responded to one alarm.
    SUNDAY — Officers issued six traffic warnings, responded to one alarm and investigated one accident.
    RUSSELL UNION — Some money was found.
