Police Report 5-5-11 - BALDWIN STREET Police responded to a fight over a game

 Statesboro Police Department Arrests
    Frank Caldwell Rucker, 26, Stambuk Lane — wanted person.
   
 Incidents
    BRYANT STREET — Someone reported a bicycle stolen.
    BALDWIN STREET — Police responded to a fight over a game. One man threatened another with a beer bottle, another person threatened one with a PVC pipe, and some showed visible injuries. No arrests were made.
    EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — (Women’s Pavilion) A woman released her rights to a newborn baby, but the maternal grandparents wanted to see the child. A dispute between them and the child’s father ended in the hospital refusing to release the baby until a resolution is made.
    COLLEGE BOULEVARD — A GPS unit was stolen from a car.
    WOODLAND APARTMENTS — A bicycle was reported stolen.
    STAMBUK LANE — A GPS unit and wallet were stolen from a car.
    STATESBORO REGIONAL LIBRARY — A wallet and $280 cash were stolen from a car.
    CAMPUS CLUB APARTMENTS — A woman said a man struck her in the face. Police noted visible marks.
    DENMARK AND BAY STREETS — Police responded to a call about several women fighting.
     
 Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office Arrests
    Luther Aaron Lively, 20, Maple Drive — simple battery, third degree cruelty to children, criminal trespass.
    RC Gary Davis Jr., 25, Lucky Street — probation violation.
    Nancy Kay Bradley, 60, Deloach Church Road, Claxton — sale of oxycodone, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
      Joseph Daniel Turner, 31, Woodrum Road — hit and run, expired tag, no insurance.
     
 Incidents
    Sam Tillman Road — (Statesboro)Someone stole gasoline from two vehicles.
    D&R CAR CARE — (U.S. 301 North, Statesboro)Someone stole scrap metal.
    PAMELA WAY — (Statesboro) A woman found shampoo bottles on her toilet and said someone came in through a window but stole nothing.
    VIRACON — (Statesboro) Several copper plates were reported stolen.
    GA. 46 — (Register) A woman reported the theft of a red four-wheeler and two tractor batteries from her home.
    CLITO ROAD — (Clito) A man reported the theft of a red four-wheeler.
    FRANKLIN ROAD — (Clito) A man reported the theft of a pistol.
       
 Georgia State Patrol Post 45 Arrests
    DUI arrests — Donna Michelle Mills, 44, Banks Creek Church Road, Portal — DUI (refused test).
    Jacob D. Edmondson, 20, U.S> 301 South  DUI (.099).

 Georgia Southern University Police Arrests
    Officers issued one citation Tuesday.
    Derek Carter, 19, University Villas - possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within a school zone; possession of a firearm within a school zone; and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.  
    Rashaan Thompson,18, University Villas - sale of marijuana; sale of marijuana within a school zone; possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within a school zone; possession of a firearm within a school zone; and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
    Taylor Meyer-Frisby, 19, Watson Hall - sale of marijuana; sale of marijuana within a school zone; party to a crime, (GSU did not specify which crime), unlawful use of a communications device.
   
 Incidents
    Officers issued three warnings and assisted three motorists Tuesday.
    UNIVERSITY VILLAS —Officers investigated a drug complaint.
    NEWTON BUILDING — Officers responded to a noise complaint and found several juveniles on skateboards.  They were asked to leave the area.
    SOUTHERN COURTYARD — A bike was reported stolen from the bike rack.
    OLYMPIC BOULEVARD — Textbooks were reported stolen from the Pi Kappa Phi house.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Tuesday:
