Police Report 5-4-11 - A woman called police when her children were being harassed by others

 Statesboro Police Arrests
     Kenny Joe Smith, 47, North Main Street – driving without a valid license, failure to stop at stop sign.
     Kristen Nicole Pinheiro, 22, Rye Patch Road, Ludowici – expired tag, suspended license.
     James Paul Strickland III, 29, Frink Road – wanted person.
     Lavelton Markiee Morgan, 29, Packinghouse Road – tag light violation, no valid driver’s license.
     Mario Benson, 39, Lanier Drive – criminal trespass, disorderly conduct.
     Lateia B. Benson, 3, Lanier Drive – disorderly conduct.
     Sharlecia Me’chelle Smith, 18, Bailey Street, Claxton – theft by shoplifting.
 
 Bulloch Sheriff’s Arrests
     Michael William Tustian, 59, Pulaski Road – public intoxication, obstruction, disorderly conduct.
     Lisa Gayle Kersey, 44, May Road, Ellabell – criminal trespass.

     DUI arrests –  none.
     Seatbelt citations – one.

 Georgia Southern University Arrests
     Officers issued two traffic citations Monday.

 Statesboro Police Incidents
     MORRIS STREET – A woman reported the theft of a $50 bill.
     HAWTHORNE APARTMENTS – A woman told police she was sexually assaulted in a friend’s apartment. The case is under investigation.
     FARMER’S AND MERCHANT’S BANK – A man tried cashing a fictitious check, and police are investigating.
     WEST PARRISH STREET – Officers responded to a domestic dispute.
     REED STREET - A maroon bicycle was reported stolen.
     DENMARK STREET – A woman called police when her children were being harassed by others on Facebook.
     LITTLE LOTTS CREEK APARMENTS – A woman said her children’s father pushed her down.
     EAST CHERRY STREET – Someone used a pair of snips and tried cutting into a structure wall.
     DONALDSON STREET – A Glock .40 caliber pistol was taken from a vehicle.
     HARVEY DRIVE – A man and woman were involved in a domestic dispute.
     WILDWOOD CIRCLE – A woman said a man is stalking her on Facebook and parks near her home even though he is not from around her and has an out of town address. She has asked him to leave her alone, and has blocked him on Facebook.
 
 Bulloch County Sheriff’s Incidents
     OLNEY STATION DRIVE – (Ellabell) An air conditioner, outdoor building, arch, paving stones, and vent covers were stolen.
     U.S. 80 WEST – (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a tractor and equipment.
     GA. 67 – (Statesboro) A woman reported a large amount of jewelry stolen.

 Georgia Southern University Incidents
     Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted three motorists, assisted one sick person and one injured person, responded to one alarm and investigated one accident.
     NEWTON BUILDING - Officers responded to a report of people skateboarding and being too loud.
     HENDERSON LIBRARY - An IPod was reported stolen.
     CENTENNIAL PLACE - A calculator was reported stolen.
