Police Report 5-29-11 - WALMART Three women were arrested for stealing 27 items

ARRESTS
Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Brooklet Police arrests:
    John Nathan Harvey, 35, Nevils Groveland Road,  Pembroke - obstuction, suspended license (third offense), and improper stopping.
    Rebecca Ann Sikes, 40, Mount Pleasant Road, Jefferson City, TN - suspended license .

Statesboro Police Arrests Thursday:
    Lakaya Raquel Dekle, 28, Rucker Lane – burglary.
    Shanquetta Ford, 18, Whit’s End Road, Hinesville – theft by shoplifting.
    Nakia Bacon, 18, Whit’s End Road, Hinesville – theft by shoplifting
    Chernel Jones, 19, Whit’s End Road, Hinesville – theft by shoplifting
    John Thomas Cunningham, 21, Stambuk Lane – marijuana possession, tag light violation.

Bulloch Sheriff’s Arrests Thursday:
    Stephen Eric Clayton, 33, Park Place Apartments – theft by receiving stolen property, probation violation.
    Shakina Roshaunda Perry, 29, Triple T Road, Register – probation violation.
    Jonathan Allen Joiner,27, Herschel Drive, Metter –possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring  Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Brooklet Police citations:
    Improper stopping – one.
    Obstruction – one.
    Speeding – five.
    Stop Sign violations-two.
    Suspended license – two.
    Unregistered or unlicensed vehicle- one.
    Failure to yield at intersection – one.

Statesboro Police Incidents Thursday:
    RUCKER LANE – A woman was arrested after stealing a neighbor’s gaming systems and pawning them.
    WALMART – Three women were arrested for stealing 27 items.
 
Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of May 16-22.
    Surrendered by citizens – 10 dogs and 29 cats by county citizens, two dogs and a cat from Statesboro residents.
    Collected by Humane Enforcement – 11 dogs and two cats from rural county areas, seven dogs and three cats from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter – three dogs and three cats.
    Reclaimed by owners – three dogs.
    Died at shelter – two dogs and three cats.
    Euthanized – 21 dogs and 36 cats.
    Three citations and six warnings were issued, and $347.50 in fees was collected.
