Police Report 5-22-11 - PROCTOR/MORRIS STREETS A woman said a man pointed a gun

ARRESTS
Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University,  and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Arrests (Thursday)
    Jason Edward Shuman, 28, Holland Drive, Register – battery, obstructing emergency phone calls.
    Edward Davis, 50, Baldwin Street – probation violation.

INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Statesboro Police Incidents (Thursday)
    SOUTHERN VILLAS – A woman said her boyfriend threw her to the ground and would not allow her and her child to leave.
    PROCTOR/MORRIS STREETS – A woman said a man pointed a gun at her while she waited on traffic. She took his tag number.
    STADIUM PLACE APARTMENTS – A woman said a neighbor grabbed and pushed her during an argument about the complainant’s medical condition.
    DUNLAP STREET – A man said his mother tried to stab hi during a heated argument. She was arrested.
    HUNNICUT DRIVE – A riding lawn mower, push mower engine and bicycle were reported stolen.

    Speeding – four.
    Tail light violation citation  - one
    Stop sign violation – one.
    Driving w/o license on person – one.
    Adult seatbelt citation - one.
 
Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of May 9-15.
    Surrendered by citizens in rural Bulloch – 12 dogs and 10 cats.
    Surrendered by citizens in City of Statesboro – two dogs and 10 cats.
    Collected by Humane Enforcement in rural Bulloch County – 11 dogs and seven cats.
    Collected by Humane Enforcement in City of Statesboro – five dogs.
    Adopted from shelter – three dogs and five cats.
    Reclaimed by owners – three dogs.
    Died at shelter – six cats.
    Euthanized – 17 dogs and 16 cats.
    Citations issued – five.
    Warnings issued – nine.
    Fees collected - $547.50.
