Statesboro Police Department

BERKSHIRE VILLAGE - A woman told police that she saw someone in her home, but they fled when they saw her.
ADVANCE AUTO PARTS/NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST - An "irate, drunk male subject" entered the store, found a $4 part for his vehicle and left without paying.
FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS - A woman said another female struck her with a cane during an argument.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - A woman was arrested for shoplifting $46 worth of clothing.
Another person concealed $78 worth of food and $12 worth of other items and tried to leave without paying. They, too, were arrested.
LANIER DRIVE - A woman told police that a man choked and shoved her, leaving visible injuries.
BELK - A woman was charged with shoplifting $30 worth of clothing.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
HIGHWAY 24/OLIVER BRIDGE - A man found a jet ski and trailer in the middle of the roadway. He took it home, replaced a tire on the trailer that blew out on the way and called law enforcement to let them know that he had the jet ski and trailer so that the owner could be found.
G.W. OLIVER SPUR ROAD - A woman reported a wallet was stolen from her vehicle.
LANGSTON CHAPEL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - A student brought a Hi-Point .380 caliber pistol to school and was showing it to other students. The child was arrested.
JONES MILL ROAD - A woman said that a man with an accent called her to tell her she had won the lottery. He then changed his story and said she won a Publishers Clearing House contest. He called back after being told to stop and said he had a $3 million package to send to her husband. He recited her address, and this concerned the woman, so she called deputies.
MORGAN WAY - A man cranked his semi-tractor and walked to a store while it ran. He returned to find it on fire.
ROCKY FORD ROAD/HIGHWAY 25 - Deputies responded to a call about two men fighting and one stealing the other's truck, leaving the truck owner on the side of the road. One man was arrested on wanted person charges. The truck owner declined to press auto theft charges.
MILL CREEK ESTATES - A man told deputies that his dog got loose and ran to the neighbor's yard. When he went to get the dog, the neighbor threatened to shoot the dog and fired a shot, he said.
WESTSIDE MOBILE HOME PARK - A man told deputies that he fell through a hole in the floor when he tried to keep a man in a wheelchair from falling through it. The disabled man told deputies that he could not operate his wheelchair because of holes in the floor and said he could not lock his door and his landlord would not repair the home. Deputies advised him to report the situation to social workers and said they would provide a report for him to support his claims. The other man said he would consult an attorney after going to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the fall.
SWALLOWTAIL DRIVE - A man reported the theft of tools from his truck and yard.
TENNESSEE WALK - A man reported his wife's wedding rings were stolen by someone who pried open a locked jewelry box in his home.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued three traffic citations and eight traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Troopers investigated 18 crashes with no fatalities and 11 reported injuries Friday through Sunday. They also issued six DUI arrests, 13 citations and three warnings for seatbelt violations and 11 citations and 35 warnings for speeding.
