Police report - 5-1-15; A woman told deputies her grandson is sorry, lazy and wont go to work.

Arrests/citations
    Brendan Timothy Collins, 31, South College Street — public intoxication.
    William Kyle Johnson, 24, McDilda Drive, Lyons — DUI, failure to maintain lane.
    Carlos Dequan Covington, 39, The Lodge Apartments — driving with no license.
 
Incidents
    BLAKEWOODS APARTMENTS — Wednesday, a woman told police she saw a man stab another woman’s car tire, just before police arrived to respond to a domestic dispute between the man and victim.
    GNAT’S LANDING — A man causing a disturbance led the manager to call police, who arrested the offender on public intoxication charges.
    DONNIE SIMMONS WAY — A juvenile at the Cedarwood GNETS program alternative school was arrested after causing a disturbance. He was charged with disrupting a public school, unruly juvenile, simple assault and simple battery. Reports listed four victims. The child was turned over to his foster mother, who took him to the hospital for evaluation.
    SOUTH EDGEWOOD DRIVE — Police responded Wednesday to a domestic dispute. A woman said her child’s father was smoking and they argued over that. The man damaged a door during the argument.

Arrests/citations
    Zachary Andrew Cryder, 20, Buttermilk Road, Sylvania — two counts of criminal attempt to commit a felony, two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, use of a communications facility in the commission of a felony involving controlled substances.
    Darion Lamar Moody, 22, Paradise Road, Twin City — two counts of criminal attempt to commit a felony, two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
    Brandon Alexis Williams, 36, Turtle Court — contempt of court.
    Colby Taylor Hart, 20, Center Drive, Vidalia — two counts of criminal attempt to commit a felony, two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
    Timothy Jordan Thompson, 26, Thompson Drive, Union — felony bench warrant.

Incidents
    MILLER STREET EXTENSION — A cab driver told deputies Tuesday he gave someone a ride, but the person left without paying a $40 fare. Deputies could not locate the woman and no one answered the door where she was believed to be.
    WESTBROOKE DRIVE — Wednesday, a woman told deputies another woman threatened to attack her physically over a dispute about a male friend. The victim said the dispute is ongoing and the offender harasses her by text as well.
    BROOKLET-DENMARK ROAD — A woman reported a man tried to steal her keys when she denied his request to borrow her car. (He had no license.) She told deputies the man’s belongings were in her living room and likely contained drugs. Deputies found paraphernalia and methamphetamine. The offender was not found, but warrants were to be taken, reports stated.
    ELDORA ROAD/ELLABELL — A man said Wednesday another man grabbed him and tried to pull him into a car. The offender then drove off with the victim hanging out of the window. He broke the window trying to get free, and suffered cuts. The offender said the complainant started the altercation by blocking his way and refusing to let him leave.
    LIVE OAK LOOP/ELLABELL — A man told deputies another male threatened to harm him and had friends harassing him.
    MIDDLEGROUND PLANTATION DRIVE —  Wednesday, a woman told deputies her grandson is “sorry, lazy and won’t go to work.” She wanted him to move out. The grandson said his grandmother woke up screaming and that he explained his boss at a car wash told him not to come in because it was raining. He agreed to move.
    FAST & EASY/LANIER DRIVE — A man reported three women shoplifted cell phone accessories on two separate occasions. He said video showed them committing the crimes. The women were not identified.
    BULLOCH COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER — An employee reported an ID scanner, used to read microchips in pets, was missing. There was no evidence it was stolen, but it was not where it was left and could not be found.

Arrests/citations
    Officers issued three traffic violation citations  Wednesday.

Incidents
    Officers issued one traffic warning and assisted three motorists Wednesday.
