ARRESTS

 

Arrests made Friday through Sunday by Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia Southern University Police and Georgia State Patrol will be published in Tuesday’s edition of the Statesboro Herald.

 

Brooklet Police Arrests – (April 21-28)

 Dana Paul Lee, 36, Roberts Road, Ellabell -speeding , fleeing and attempting to elude police, DUI (refused test).

 

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Arrests – (April  28)

Terrell Roshawn Coleman, 29, Buttermilk Road, Garfield – battery.

Dewie Jamar Donaldson, 33, Lake Church Road, Metter – suspended registration, no insurance, suspended license.

Stevie Lavern Young, 41, Pine Street – probation violation.

INCIDENTS

Speeding citations – seven.

Fleeing and attempting to elude police – one.
DUI (refusal) – one.
Child restraint- one.
Seat belt violation(adult)- one.

 

Previous Bulloch County Sheriff’s Incidents
KING ARTHUR COURT – (Statesboro) A taxi driver said three unknown men fled without paying cab fare.

KENDRICKS ROAD – (Statesboro) A man reported seeing someone fleeing from his property.

TITAN TURF – (Sinkhole Road) A man reported the theft of several hundred feet of copper wire, cut from an irrigation system.

BUTTERMILK ROAD – (Garfield) A man struck and punched a woman after she became angry over unfamiliar numbers in his phone. Deputies arrested him.

MEADOWBROOKE WAY – (Statesboro) A juvenile cursed his mother when she told him she had to work. He wanted to spend time with her. Before deputies arrived and during their visit, he apologized several times to his mother.

CLEARY ROAD – (Brooklet) A man said juveniles were riding four-wheelers through his yard.

Shelter reported the following for April 18-24:

Animals surrendered by citizens from rural areas – nine dogs and 16 cats.

Animals surrendered by Statesboro citizens – two dogs and one cat.

Animals collected by Humane Enforcement(rural) – 10 dogs and a cats.

Animals collected by Humane Enforcement (City of Statesboro) five dogs and two cats.

Adopted – six dogs.

Reclaimed by owners – six dogs.

Died at shelter – five dogs.

Euthanized – 28 dogs and six cats.

Citations issued – one.

Warnings issued – four.

Fees collected - $540.
