Police report - 4-9-15; A juvenile student was arrested Tuesday for simple assault.

STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT

    Jodi Dawn Kazlow, 47, Longwood Drive — theft by shoplifting.
 
Incidents
    OCEAN GALLEY/LESTER ROAD — Witnesses stated that a man, 32, grabbed another man, 19, by the shirt Monday and pressed him against an SUV. This was reported as simple battery, and the officer noted that a warrant will be sought in Magistrate Court.
    DOLLAR TREE/NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — A woman lost her wallet, last seen Monday in the parking lot.
    CEDARWOOD GNETS PROGRAM/DONNIE SIMMONS WAY — A juvenile student was arrested Tuesday for simple assault, disorderly conduct and disrupting the school after reportedly threatening staff members.
    STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT — A woman reported Monday that, after she misplaced her bank card, someone used it at seven different places around town.
    SOUTH COLLEGE STREET — A woman reported Tuesday afternoon that her son, 14, left home after she told him he couldn’t. Police issued a lookout to other agencies for the runaway juvenile.
    BALDWIN STREET — A license plate from a Ford Crown Victoria was reported lost or stolen Sunday.
    WALMART/NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — Store security detained a woman for leaving without paying for $56 worth of groceries. Police charged her with shoplifting.
    EAST JONES AVENUE — A juvenile, no age given, was reported as unruly. The Department of Juvenile Justice was contacted and the girl released to her mother.
    EAST OLLIFF STREET — A woman reported that a man threatened to harm her while holding a pocketknife and a broken glass bottle. Police advised the victim of the warrant process.

    Jaylen Maurice Atmore, 21, Kent Street — marijuana possession, failure to yield when entering roadway.
    Rigoberto Turi Chavez, 32, Brannen Farm Road — driving without a valid license.
    Jarrod Reidell Ellis, 26, Viewpoint Drive — marijuana possession.
    Ricardo Demonn Holly, 34, Denmark Street — misdemeanor obstruction.
    Christopher Conrad Pressler, 25, Sandy Hill Lane — battery, first-offense family violence battery, third-degree cruelty to children.
    Robert Glenn Skinner, 65, Brown Street, Brooklet — possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
    Brandon Avery Williams, 22, Garfield Street — marijuana possession, disorderly conduct, misdemeanor obstruction.
Incidents
    CLITO ROAD — Deputy responding to domestic dispute call Tuesday found a man and woman arguing. The man had abrasions to his face and busted lip, but stated that he fell while running through brush. Deputy observed man also had scratches on his legs.
    BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE — A local bank advised a man that the check he received purporting to be from Publisher’s Clearing House was fraudulent. Also Tuesday, a woman reported she had been notified by her tax service that her Social Security number had been used by someone else to file an earlier return without her knowledge or consent.In another report, a woman tried to file her taxes, the IRS informed her that she had already done so. The agency also informed her that her taxes had been filed each year from 2009 on, but she told a deputy she hadn’t filed since 2008.
