Statesboro Police Department
    NORTHSIDE DRIVE WEST — An “entering auto” incident was reported at a parking lot and garage. Items were stolen from at least one vehicle, but three vehicles were identified in the report. Items listed as stolen include a handgun, two fishing poles, a pair of shoes and three bottles of cologne.
    LANIER DRIVE — A fight between two people, involving alleged public drunkenness, was reported shortly after midnight Tuesday, and both people were arrested and transported to the Bulloch County Jail.
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    RANDY LOWERY ROAD — A property owner who reported two men trespassing on his land told a deputy he has had problems with poachers. But the deputy found the men with fishing gear, not firearms. One man said that he was taking the other to a fishing spot he usually finds by a route from his uncle’s house, but they were trying a shortcut. The fishermen told the deputy they would not encroach on this property again, and the owner was reportedly satisfied.
    BURKHALTER ROAD — Near Five Chop Road, a barrel fell off a vehicle into the roadway and was hit by a second vehicle, causing visible damage to the second vehicle.

    Officers issued eight traffic citations and 10 warnings and assisted five motorists.
