Statesboro Police Department

NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST - A man and woman argued about infidelity, and he grabbed her necklace, breaking it, she said.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - A woman who did not ring up $68 worth of food and $12 in other merchandise was arrested for shoplifting.
Another suspect did the same with $225 worth of food and $16 in other merchandise.
EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER - A man was injured at a party, he said. He told police several people hit him, but he did not wish to press charges.
SOUTH MAIN STREET - A man reported a burglary in which someone took a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses, a cellphone and a PlayStation controller.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
MACEDONIA CHURCH ROAD - A homeowner told deputies that former tenants who had been evicted broke into a home and stole a TV.
WILLIAM JAMES MIDDLE SCHOOL - A student was punished for selling another student a stolen cellphone.
POLK ROAD - A man reported the theft of two chainsaws.
HIGHWAY 119 - A woman was arrested after deputies returned to her home a second time following a domestic dispute call. She was bleeding from the hand, and there was extensive damage in the home. She was charged with second-degree criminal damage to property.
SUNSHINE ROAD - A man took his father's truck without permission, crashed it and returned home, where he punched his father in the face. He admitted he "shot up" Xanax as a substitute for heroin, to which he is addicted. He was arrested.
EMIT DEAL ROAD - A man said a woman he has known four years has been told to stay away from his home but constantly returns. She asks for money, he said, and left a handwritten note while he was gone.
BURKHALTER MOBILE HOME PARK - A juvenile male who reportedly stole beer and became intoxicated started a physical altercation and threatened suicide. He was taken to a hospital.
WESTSIDE ROAD - Deputies pursued two suspects who hid in the woods after a car crash. Both men were arrested and appeared intoxicated.

Officers issued 12 traffic citations and eight traffic warnings and assisted six motorists.
