    Jamel Alexander Collins, 30, Marchison Road, Ellabell — third-degree cruelty to children, battery.
    Ebony Deas Simmons, 20, Cedarwood Acres Mobile Home Park, Register — seat belt violation, suspended license.

Incidents
    BLAKEWOODS APARTMENTS — A woman said the father of two of her four children punched her in the face in front of the children.
    UNIVERSITY POINTE APARTMENTS — Someone reported a burglary but police reports did not list items stolen.

Arrests
    Raymond Emeil Coursey, 25, Chathamville Drive, Garden City — violation of a family violence protective order, probation violation, bench warrant.
    Norris Keith Griffis, 47, Union Spring Road, Springfield — illegal possession of Xanax, illegal possession of a controlled substance (Lunesta), marijuana possession, DUI (drugs), failure to maintain lane, striking a fixed object, possession/use of a drug-related object.
    Javonte Jajuan Hinkins, 22, Stevens Street, Wadley — probation violation.

    NEVILS-GROVELAND ROAD — (Nevils) A man reported someone battered his mailbox with a baseball bat.
    GEORGIA HIGHWAY 67 — (Statesboro) A man driving recklessly in a gray Dodge truck was found to be intoxicated, and had marijuana and other drugs in his truck.
    HAYES LAKE ROAD — (Brooklet) A man said a Bryan County law enforcement officer and another woman complained about his having logging work and burning (with permits) on his property. The woman took pictures and harassed him and the law enforcement officer threatened to write tickets for logging trucks, he said.
