Incidents
    BALDWIN STREET — Tuesday, a juvenile struck a man in the eye, causing it to swell. The juvenile female was arrested, then turned over to her mother. The man was found to have outstanding warrants and was also arrested.
    HWY. 24 — A woman reported Tuesday a 15-year-old girl is having a sexual relationship with an 18-year-old man. Police are investigating the matter as a statutory rape incident.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — Tuesday, a woman left the store without paying for two lava lamps. She was not apprehended, but a loss prevention employee got her tag number, and police are investigating.
    BLAKEWOODS APARTMENTS — A woman fled her apartment with her juvenile daughter Tuesday after a man shoved her and stabbed her mattress several times with a knife. The offender fled the scene as well and was not found when police arrived.
    111 SOUTH APARTMENTS — Police responded Tuesday to a reported battery incident. Witnesses and a victim all said a female roommate struck another female, but no arrests were made at the time. The victim was advised about magistrate court options.
    DOLLAR TREE — Tuesday, a man entered the store demanding the clerk cash a check. When the clerk did not, the man became irate and store employees called police. The man was gone upon officer’s arrival.
    DELUXE INN — Police responded to a reported domestic dispute Tuesday. No arrests were made.

Incidents
    PINEVIEW DRIVE — Tuesday, a woman told deputies three men came to her home asking to cut down trees. She paid them half in cash and half in a check. As soon as she paid them, they stopped cutting trees and she overheard one say he was going to Sylvania to cash the check. She called the store he said he was going to and stopped payment on the check. The man called her asking why she did so. This frightened her, as she knew he would be back to her home because he left a ladder. Deputies agreed to escort the man to the home to return the check to the complainant and retrieve his ladder.
    LANDINGS PARKWAY — A man said his roommate damaged his closet walls by striking them with a blue baseball bat he owned. Marks and holes in the walls were consistent with a ball bat and blue scuff marks indicated the blue bat may have been used. The offender is moving out because he did not get along with other roommates, the complainant said.
    SOUTHEAST BULLOCH HIGH SCHOOL — Tuesday a school official called police about a student having suspected marijuana. The student claimed it was not his and he was set up. He was arrested and turned over to guardians.
