Statesboro Police Department
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — Someone was arrested for shoplifting 21 items worth $184.
    Another man fled after being caught shoplifting $112 worth of merchandise.
    In a third incident, a woman was charged with shoplifting $44 worth of gloves and makeup.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    BANKS CREEK CHURCH ROAD — A woman told deputies a white van pulled into her drive and someone shined a spotlight into her home.
    ROCKY FORD ROAD — Deputies suffered minor injuries during a struggle when they took a runaway juvenile into custody. The juvenile, who resisted arrest and refused to answer questions, was unharmed.
    UPPER LOTTS CREEK CHURCH — A woman reported the theft of a marble urn from a gravesite.
    PULASKI ROAD — Eleven rented storage units and eight empty ones were broken into, but at report time, there was no list of stolen items.
    SHUMAN DRIVE — A man and woman argued when she brought a child to stay with him. She said he pushed her and threw ice at her; he said she tried to run over him with the car.
    BURKHALTER MOBILE HOME PARK — A man said another man he does not know punched him in the face. A witness told deputies she did not wish to make a statement because it would cause problems between her family and the alleged offender’s family.

    Officers issued two traffic citations and five traffic warnings and assisted eight motorists.
