Incidents
THE AVENUE AT SOUTHERN — Someone stole a TV, laptop computer and speakers during a burglary.
RUDE RUDY’S — The bar was cited after an undercover officer under 21 years old purchased a rum-and-Coke mixed drink from the bar. A woman was charged with sale of alcohol to persons under 21.
WALMART — A man picked up a fishing rod and obtained money from the service desk as a fraudulent refund.
RUBY TUESDAY — An undercover alcohol sting ended in a man being cited for selling alcohol to a person under 21 years old.
WILDWOOD VILLAS — A man climbed through a woman’s window, held her in the bed and threatened to punch her.
SOUTHERN PALACE — A man was cited for selling alcohol to an underage person during a Statesboro Police Department undercover sting operation.
CHANDLER ROAD — A man and woman fought, and someone called police. EMS treated the woman, but the man refused treatment. No one pressed charges.
SHOGUN HIBACHI GRILL AND BAR — A woman was cited for selling alcohol to a person who is underage.
CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN — Someone reported the theft of a white 1992 Chevrolet pickup.
SOUTH AND VINE PUBLIC HOUSE — During an alcohol compliance check, a man was cited after selling alcohol to an undercover, underage person.
MCDONALD’S/ARCHWAY DRIVE — A customer and employee had words, and the customer followed the employee into the bathroom and physically struck him several times. The offender told police the employee started it after he bumped him, but video showed otherwise. The employee signed a waiver of prosecution and the offender was banned from the restaurant.
RUSTY’S TAVERN — A man was cited after selling alcohol to an undercover, underage officer during an alcohol compliance check.
WALGREEN’S — A man sold alcohol to an underage officer during a compliance check operation. He was cited on the scene.
EL SOMBRERO/BUCKHEAD DRIVE — During an alcohol compliance check, someone sold alcohol to an underage officer and was cited.
KMART — Someone sold alcohol to an undercover agent who is not yet 21 years old. The person was cited.
GEORGIA AVENUE — A woman said her boyfriend punched her in the mouth, causing an injury that officers noted even hours after the incident. She said he also had punched her in the leg earlier. She was given information on a protective order.
NORTHSIDE DRIVE WEST/MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DRIVE — Police are investigating an incident in which two drivers kept cutting each other off, causing a couple accidents.
MELLOW MUSHROOM — A woman was cited for selling alcohol to an underage person who was also an undercover officer.
MORRIS HEIGHTS APARTMENTS — A woman said a man punched a hole in a wall, ripped drawers out of the kitchen, held a knife to her body and pushed her back into a chair. He was arrested.
EAGLE INN — Police investigated a battery report.
CHILI’S — A man was cited for selling alcohol to an underage person during a Statesboro Police Department compliance check.

Arrests
Between Friday and Sunday, troopers issued two seat belt citations, a child restraint citation, five speeding citations and 16 total citations.
Incidents
Between Friday and Sunday, troopers investigated 14 crashes with seven reported injuries. Troopers patrolled 2,282 miles, issued two child restraint warnings, 49 speeding warnings and 78 total warnings, and assisted two motorists.
GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
Arrests
Officers issued 20 traffic citations Friday through Sunday.
Kristyn Alexis Stone, 20, Brampton Avenue - seat belt violation and DUI.
Adam Russell Hill, 19, Georgia Avenue - possession of alcohol under 21 years of age, obstruction — misdemeanor, criminal trespass and possession of marijuana — less than an ounce.
Charles Christopher Baines, 26, Lanier Drive - possession of a weapon in a school safety zone.
Incidents
Officers issued 19 warnings and assisted four motorists Friday through Sunday.
EAGLE VILLAGE — Officers arrested a man seen carrying alcoholic beverages on charges of possession of alcohol under 21 years of age, obstruction — misdemeanor, criminal trespass and possession of marijuana — less than 1 ounce.
FREEDOM’S LANDING — Officers made contact with a subject at Freedom’s Landing carrying a knife cane. The man was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon in a school safety zone.
