Police Report, 4-19-15: Euthanized at animal shelter two dogs.

Arrests/Citations
Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Brooklet Police Department
Geronimo Vallin, 19, Cotton Gin Lane, Brooklet - financial transaction card theft, financial transaction card fraud.
Wali Abdul Johnson, 36, Arcola Road, Brooklet - battery, assault on an unborn child, third-degree cruelty to children.
Matthew Lewis Tanksley, 28, Old McElveen Road, Brooklet - speeding, DUI (refused test).

INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Wednesday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Metter Police Department
SOUTH BROAD STREET - April 9, officers responded to a report of theft by taking.
SOUTH WILLIAMS STREET - Officers responded April 11 to a burglary report.
NORTH LEWIS/ELDRIDGE STREET - Officers issued a DUI and several traffic citations to an offender April 11.
LYELL STREET - April 12, a person was cited for traffic violations, including marijuana possession.

Bulloch County Animal Shelter
The shelter reported the following activity during the week of April 6-12:
Surrendered by citizens - nine dogs and one cat from rural county areas; no dogs or cats from city of Statesboro.
Collected by officers - 17 dogs and four cats from rural county areas; three dogs from city of Statesboro.
Adopted from shelter - four dogs.
Reclaimed by owners - two dogs.
Died at shelter - no animals.
Euthanized - two dogs and no cats.
Fees collected - $360.
