Stacy Lee Deloach, 42, Mike Brannen Road, Register – felony theft by taking.

Crystal Gail Culberson, 25, Ponderosa Road, Portal – battery, probation violation.

Jonathan Edward Geddis, 26, Parker Ave Ext., Brooklet  - simple assault disorderly conduct.

Jessica Renee Sheffield, 23, U.S. 80,  - willfully obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers.

Jimmy Carrol McGill, 34, Creekside Circle, Ellabell – driving with a suspended license, speeding.

Michael Henry Kearns, 36, Troy Street, Brooklet  - aggravated assault, simple battery , cruelty to children, disorderly conduct, obstruction, criminal trespass

Statesboro Police Incidents

UNIVERSITY PINES APARTMENTS – A man was arrested for public intoxication after he knocked on several apartment doors, thinking he was at his own house.

PLATINUM LOUNGE – A woman said someone cut two of her tires.

SOUTHGATE APARTMENTS – A woman said a man threatened her with a knife.

PARK PLACE APARTMENTS – A woman told police her Shih Tzu dog got away from her, and an unknown person took the dog into an apartment.

THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN – A man said someone stole $2,000 from a safe in his closet.

SANDY WAY – Police investigated a complaint of a tenant’s boyfriend acting inappropriately, and questioned three juveniles regarding the matter. They then called the Department of Family and Children Services to investigate.

 

 

Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents

OLD REGISTER ROAD – (Statesboro) A woman reported receiving harassing calls and texts.

LAWRENCE CHURCH ROAD – (Pembroke) A man reported someone filed taxes in his name.

COURTNEY WAY – (Statesboro) A juvenile damaged a TV and car windshield.

Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports

The shelter reported the following activity during the week of April 4-10.

Surrendered by citizens – 16 dogs from rural areas; eight cats from rural areas, three cats from Statesboro city limits.

Collected by Humane Enforcement- 16 dogs from rural areas, one dog from Statesboro city limits.

Adopted from shelter – two dogs and two cats.

Reclaimed by citizens–four dogs.

Died at shelter–one dog.

Euthanized – six dogs and eight cats.

Citations issued – four.

Warnings issued – eight.

Fees collected - $317.50
