INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police Department
    CHATHAM COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE — Officers picked up a person who was wanted for failure to appear in court about a noise ordinance violation.
    BRAMPTON AVENUE — A woman left a wallet and phone by a pond, and found them missing when she returned for them.
    CAMPUS CROSSING APARTMENTS — One woman told police an unknown man struck her before fleeing from the apartment, and a second victim said an unknown man pointed a handgun at her before fleeing. The woman who was hit in the face was treated by EMS. The suspect was not found.
    HAWTHORNE ROAD — A woman beating on a door and apparently under the influence of drugs or alcohol was arrested on charges of simple battery and public intoxication. Officers arrived to the scene and saw her yelling and cursing as she beat on the residence door.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    FRANKLIN ROAD — A man and woman called deputies because she awakened in a bad mood and started arguing with the man when she woke him for breakfast. He said she was still intoxicated from the night before, had been unfaithful to him and had not been home in a few days. She told deputies he was mad because she was sleeping with another man.
    PLANTATION CIRCLE — A lawn mower ignited in a garage, damaging the mower as well as a portion of the garage.
    OAKWOOD DRIVE — A man reported the theft of a TV.
    BRANNEN ROAD — A man fought physically with a woman during an argument over his child being treated differently than his girlfriend’s child. He struggled with his girlfriend’s mother, who was taking bikes from his property he felt she had no right to take, and the woman slapped him. He then caused her to fall, reports stated.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued 15 traffic citations and three traffic warnings and assisted five motorists.
