▲ EAGLE VILLAGE —A man called deputies about two men trespassing who had already been served with a criminal trespass warning.

▲ OLNEY STATION ROAD — A man reported a suspicious call regarding collecting money for first responders. The caller knew the man’s name and address and wanted him to donate via credit card. He refused.

▲ OLD GROVELAND ROAD — A woman told deputies her ex-boyfriend contacted her 40 times via Snapchat, and she wanted him to stop.

▲ R.J. KENNEDY ROAD — Someone reported the theft of a box blade.

▲ THE BARN MOBILE HOME PARK — Deputies arrested an intoxicated man after he tried to enter a woman’s yard.

➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ WEST MAIN STREET — Officers met with people involved in a domestic dispute and gave them information on remedies.

▲ GENTILLY ROAD — A woman said her boyfriend took her car after a physical struggle.

▲ CHURCH STREET — A safe and cash were reportedly stolen during a burglary.

▲ WOODLAND DRIVE — Officers arrested someone involved in a physical domestic dispute.

▲ EAST JONES AVENUE — Police spoke to people involved in a verbal dispute. They agreed to get along.

▲ WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A woman reported $140 cash stolen from a purse.

▲ WEST GRADY STREET — One woman suffered visible injuries when she and another female fought.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — Officers arrested a person on simple battery charges after a complainant showed visible injuries.

In a separate call, someone reported being threatened by text.

▲ Officers issued one traffic citation and one traffic warning and assisted two motorists. 

▲ UNIVERSITY VILLAS — Someone reported a suspicious person.

➤ Georgia State Patrol Post 45

▲ Last week, troopers responded to 20 crashes with 10 reported injuries.

▲ Troopers also arrested five drivers on DUI charges and issued 13 citations and three warnings for seatbelt violations, two citations and one warning for child restraint violations, and six citations and 13 warnings for speeding.
