Police Report 3-27-13: A woman shoplifted condoms, personal lubricant and acne medication

STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
  Arrests
    Nancy Dajui-Mendoza, 20, Cindy Lane — no tag, driving while unlicensed, giving false information.
    Refugio Moreno, 18, Martha Lane, Glennville — failure to stop at a stop sign, driving without a license.
    Taylor Christine Boyle, 19, Runaway Bay Lane, Mount Pleasant, S.C. — giving false information.
    James David Hoff, 21, Stambuk Lane — battery.
    Rafael Dolores-Diaz, 27, Fair Road — driving without a valid license.
    Amalia Trinidad-Diaz, 32, U.S. Highway 301 South — driving without a valid license.
    Lydia Jacqueline Whitfield, 20, Hawthorne Apartments — theft by shoplifting.
    Belinda Jane Crews, 44, Old River Road North — wanted person.
    Alisha Latoya Jackson, 32, Big Pine Road, Garfield – theft by shoplifting.
    Roger Butler, 26, Church Street — wanted person, no tag, driving with license not on person, driving with an expired license, giving false information.

  Incidents
    WALMART — A man said another man, whom he does not know, stopped his car, told him he knew the victim, knew where he lived and is watching him.
    KMART — A woman shoplifted condoms, personal lubricant and acne medication.
    EAGLE VILLAS — A woman said her live-in boyfriend put his hands around her throat during a dispute. He denied the dispute was physical. No charges were made.
    THE ISLANDS — A man pushed a woman down after she struck his car with a glass bottle. She suffered visible injuries, and he was arrested for battery.
    MORRIS HEIGHTS APARTMENTS — A woman and her grandmother argued over someone moving the complainant’s cellphone. She told police her grandmother struck her, but there were no visible injuries.
    RUDE RUDY’S — Someone stole men’s size 13 Nike shoes and a bag from a car.
    CAMPUS CROSSINGS — Someone stole a yellow dress watch and a TV.
    In a separate incident, a woman said a female roommate struck her in the face several times.
    DOLLAR GENERAL — (Northside Drive East) A woman shoplifted men’s and boys’ clothing.

  Arrests
    Cindel Monique Albaugh, 23, Anderson Road, Register — trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, first-degree cruelty to children.
    Rachel Elaine Fowler, 32, Anderson Road, Register — felony theft by receiving stolen property, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, first-degree cruelty to children.
    Stacie Ann Piazzi, 33, Anderson Road, Register —felony theft by receiving stolen property, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, first-degree cruelty to children.
    Justin Xavier Jordan, 22, Packinghouse Road — battery, obstructing persons making emergency phone calls, criminal trespass.
    Cleftina Marcell Mercer, 46, East Jones Avenue — theft by conversion.

  Incidents
    CLEARY ROAD — (Brooklet) A man went to the hospital for treatment of injuries he said were incurred when a man physically attacked him because he owed him $10.
    SOUTHEAST BULLOCH MIDDLE SCHOOL — (Brooklet) A student was arrested after bringing a knife to school.
    In a separate incident, a female student walked away from the school. A deputy located her and she fought him, kicking and scratching him. Once placed inside the patrol car, she tried to damage the car by biting the door handle. She was arrested.
    PERSIMMON PATH — (Brooklet) A woman said her stepdaughter harassed her via Facebook and sent the complainant’s mother a text saying she hoped she died from breast cancer, which she has. The offender was advised to stop all communications including social media posts, and the victim was advised of magistrate procedures.

  Arrests
    Officers issued one traffic citation Monday.
 
  Incidents
    Officers issued one traffic warning and assisted two motorists Monday.
    COLLEGE OF EDUCATION — A bike was reported stolen from the bike rack.
    SOUTHERN PINES — Someone reported a bicycle stolen from a bike rack.
    In a separate incident, a complaint of a strong arm (force used) rape was reported to Georgia Southern University Police. The victim desired no action to be taken and a waiver of prosecution was signed. 
    In another separate incident, three students were judicially referred to school officials for drug offenses.
    UNIVERSITY POINTE APARTMENTS — Officer responded and assisted the Statesboro Police Department in reference to an armed robbery.
