Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of March 11-17:
    Surrendered by citizens — 27 dogs and eight cats from rural areas; two dogs from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by humane officers — 19 dogs and no cats from rural areas; a dog and a cat from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter — six dogs and two cats.
    Reclaimed by owners — four dogs.
    Died at shelter — one dog and two cats.
    Euthanized — 13 dogs and eight cats.
    Fees collected — $470.
