STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Willie Edward Roberts, 45, Lee Street — marijuana possession.
    Warren Preston Anderson, 26, East Main Street — suspended license.
    Amanda Brittany Cook, 24, Eureka Church Road — theft by shoplifting.

Incidents
    SOUTH MAIN STREET — An officer pulled over a man riding a bicycle for equipment violations and riding on the wrong side of the road. When the man stopped behind the old Shoney’s building, he immediately handed over a bag of marijuana, and was charged with possession.
    WALMART — Two men were seen bagging grocery items at a self-checkout without scanning them first. They were not identified or arrested.
    DOLLAR GENERAL — (Northside Drive West) A woman was arrested after she was caught shoplifting body wash and minced garlic.
    FOX RIDGE APARTMENTS — A woman told police she argued with her child’s father, who kicked a door and caused damage.
    BELK — A juvenile shoplifted sports socks and T-shirts.
    HARVEYS SUPERMARKET — (Northside Drive West) Someone reported a man and woman fighting inside the store.
    GARY’S FOOD MART — A woman reported someone assaulted another, but upon police arrival the combatants were not found.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Arrests
    Vincent Craig Brown, 40, Georgia Highway 32, Douglas — probation violation.
    Rashad Tyrone Brown, 32, Iowa Street, Savannah — probation violation.
    Paul Wesley Morgan Jr., 23, Prather Road — DUI, failure to maintain lane.

Incidents
    SWALLOWTAIL DRIVE — (Statesboro) Deputies responded to a call about a couple fighting. The deputy saw the two arguing in a roadway, and the woman involved said the man was intoxicated. She said they were arguing over her children and relationship issues. The man told deputies he was trying to catch the woman with another man. They agreed to separate for the time being.
    EAGLE BRANCH MOBIKLE HOME PARK — (Register) A woman told deputies she was kicking a man out of her house because he smoked crack and can’t keep a job. When deputies told her she would have to legally evict the man, she said that was fine, but she still wasn’t letting him back in her house.
    TOMPKINS DRIVE — (Statesboro) An iPod with camera, two iPod docks, a hookah pipe and a suitcase were stolen.
    FRIENDSHIP CHURCH ROAD — (Statesboro) A man called deputies after his juvenile daughter continued to see a male he disapproved of because of the age difference. The daughter continued to talk to the male by phone and sneak out to meet him.

Arrests
    Officers issued one traffic citation Wednesday.
 
Incidents
    Officers issued two traffic warnings and assisted one motorist Wednesday.
    RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER — Two players were engaged in a fight during an intramural game. Neither wished to press charges. The fight began after one player fouled the other, who responded by throwing the ball at the first offender. Then the first man threw a punch, knocking the second offender to the floor.
    SUBWAY/LANIER DRIVE — Officers assisted the Statesboro Police Department with an armed robbery.
