Incidents
    BELK — A woman was arrested for taking items from the store, obtaining a refund for its price and using that credit to purchase other items in the store. Upon her arrest, officers discovered she had marijuana on her person.
    THE COVE AT SOUTHERN — Someone stole a set of ear buds, a Gucci belt, a tablet and a class ring from an apartment.
    WALMART — A man shoplifted a phone case and a six-pack of Bud Light beer. He then tried to obtain a refund on the phone case and was arrested.
    VIEW POINT ROAD — A woman called police to check damages to her car, which officers said appeared to be claw and teeth marks from an animal.
    DAIRY QUEEN — Someone reported a laptop computer stolen from a car.
    OUTLAND STREET — A man said someone stole a scooter and bicycle from a carport.
    NORTH MAIN STREET — A woman told police she saw three men rattling a patio door, trying to get inside. They left after being seen.
    COLLEGE WALK APARTMENTS — A PlayStation 3 and a laptop computer were reported stolen.
    NORTH MULBERRY STREET — Someone reported $80 cash stolen.
