Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    INTERSTATE 16/MILE MARKER 116 — A deputy clocked a man driving 91 miles per hour in a 70 mph zone. When he stopped the diver, he smelled marijuana and found a small amount of it in the man’s possession, as well as a pill for which he did not have an original container. He arrested the driver.
    PARKERS/HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH — A clerk called deputies about a man who reportedly called her names and caused a scene. The man told deputies she was rude and mistreated him. Deputies served the man with a criminal trespass warning at the clerk’s request.
    ANTIOCH MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH — A woman told deputies someone stole a granite slab off her husband’s grave.

Statesboro Police Department
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A woman was arrested after a store associate saw her place $81 worth of miscellaneous items in a shopping bag and leave the store. The woman was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
    OCTANE STATION/NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — A woman said another person choked, struck and poured bleach on her.
    SUCCESS COURT — A woman said a man grabbed her arm and tried to choke her. He was not at the scene, and she was given information on taking out warrants.

    Officers issued no traffic citations, one traffic warning and assisted no motorists Monday.
