STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Austin Michael Kahler, 20, High Gables East, Cumming — underage possession of alcohol, giving false information.
    Stephanie Marie Woods, 23, U.S. 80 West, Portal — theft by taking.

Incidents
    SPRING HILL SUITES — Someone stole an iPad, MP3 player, lap top computer and personal documents.
    THE EXCHANGE APARTMENTS — A man was arrested for underage possession of alcohol and giving false information after police responded to a noise complaint.
    PEG-WEN BOULEVARD — A woman asked officers to stand by while she retrieved her belongings after an argument with her girlfriend.
    COLLEGE WALK APARTMENTS — A woman said another woman banged and kicked her door, then verbally threatened her.
    BILO — A woman said a wedding ring with the inscription “When we’re zombies” on the inside was stolen from her jacket, which was in the office.
    BELK — An employee was arrested, charged with stealing two pairs of Crocs shoes and $1,252 from the store.
    CITI TRENDS — A man and woman fled the store with about $50 worth of stolen clothing.
    NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — A man told police he has been having “ongoing trouble with his manager,” according to police reports. The victim said his manager “threw water from a water bottle on him” and then told a lie. When he caught in the lie, the manager grabbed the victim’s chest above his left nipple, causing a visible bruise, reports stated. The complainant stated witnesses have observed the manager hitting him in the past and said the manager's boss has done nothing about the matter. Officers explained magistrate court proceedings to the victim.

Arrests
    Officers issued no traffic citations Thursday.
    Ronald Crawford, 20, address unlisted, Statesboro —  possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects.
    Malcom Malik Wellmarker, 18, address unlisted, Statesboro — disorderly conduct and was judicially referred to school officials.
 
Incidents
    Officers issued no traffic warnings and assisted six motorists Thursday.
    FREEDOM’S LANDING — Officers responded to a drug complaint at Freedom’s Landing.  A man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, less than 1 ounce, possession of drug related objects and was judicially referred to school officials for further punishment.
Another drug complaint ended in a second man arrested for disorderly conduct.
