Called to assist a sheriff’s deputy, an SPD officer arrested a woman after reportedly observing her entering residential yards and attempting to enter the homes.

▲ JO DAN ROAD SOUTH — An Excelsior EMC employee reported that an unauthorized person broke the seal on a power meter box and pulled the meter to disconnect the power from a mobile home.

▲ RUSHING ROAD — A deputy responding to a domestic dispute call interviewed a brother and sister who reportedly admitted fighting over sharing a marijuana joint.

▲ NORTH MAIN AND WEST PARRISH STREETS — Called to assist a sheriff’s deputy, an SPD officer arrested a woman after reportedly observing her entering residential yards and attempting to enter the homes.

▲ INSTITUTE STREET — Shortly before midnight Wednesday, police responded to a report of a gunshot at The Lodge. Officers found no victims, damage or shell casings but spoke to three people who stated that someone had discharged a firearm from the rear stairs.
