Arrests
    Jacinto Garcia Sanchez, 36, Lanier Drive — driving without a valid license, defective taillight.
    Prethenia T. Wells, 42, Johnson Street — suspended license, no proof of insurance.
    Cecil Prescott Perkins, 25, Packinghouse Road — probation violation.

Incidents
    SHONEY’S — A man said he was at the vacated restaurant location on South Main Street when someone snatched two lottery tickets and a debit card from him and fled.
    THE LODGE APARTMENTS — A woman told police a female named Tina stole a wallet containing $105 from her home.
In a separate incident, a woman called police to report a man grabbed her and shook her for no reason.
    180 FITNESS — A woman said someone took a debit card and $30 cash from her car.
    CROMARTIE DRIVE — Someone stole a TV, checkbook, perfume and jewelry.
    BILLY GUNTER HEATING AND AIR — A man reported the theft of a utility trailer.
    GREENBRIAR TRAIL — A man reported the theft of a GPS unit and phone card.
    MORRIS STREET — A man reportedly pushed a pregnant woman, with whom he once lived, over a couch and pulled some of her hair out. When she tried calling 911, he hung up the phone.
    DEANNA DRIVE — Police responded to a verbal domestic dispute.

    Kevin N. Radford, 34, Peachtree Street — loitering and prowling, obstruction.

    Kenneth Winton Rahn, 58, Conley Street, Portal — first-degree arson.
    Richard D. Sheffield, 28, Conley Street, Portal — first-degree arson.
    Bruce Levon Powell, 36, Wallace Circle, Bloomingdale — felony theft by conversion.
    Betty Sue Sweat, 59, Miller Street Extension — public intoxication.

Incidents
    BANKS DAIRY ROAD — (Portal) A man and woman were arrested for loitering and prowling. A deputy responding to a call about a suspicious vehicle found the woman claiming her car was broken down, but found it was not. She made several suspicious comments and deputies found her cruising in the area after being told to leave. Deputies also found a man walking, and both he and the woman were seen texting furiously. He denied knowing her, but evidence pointed to their possibly stealing pecans. It was also discovered that while the man denied knowing the woman, he turned out to be married to her.
    DOY LANIER ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported an ice machine stolen.
    ROZIER FORD — A man who had recently been released from prison failed to return a 2009 Volkswagen Beetle he test drove, supposedly to a bank in Statesboro. The number he gave to salesmen was his brother’s number. Warrants were issued and he was arrested for felony theft by conversion.
    DRY BRANCH VILLAGE — (Register) A man was arrested after fighting with a woman and leaving visible injuries.
    PLEASANT AVENUE — (Statesboro) A woman said her boyfriend jumped her after she didn’t come home the night before.

    SOUTHEN PINES — Four residents were judicially referred to school officials for punishment regarding drug activity.
