Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    ASHBRANCH CHURCH ROAD — A man complained that a company moving a mobile home onto neighboring property knocked over his mail box and damaged the ground with deep ruts.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER/NORTH JACKSON STREET — Police met with a man in the store who claimed someone on North Jackson Street tried to murder him. He had dried blood on his shirt and a small cut. A woman at that address said the man was her brother; he had injured himself when he fell off a chair while “messing” with a door (that showed damage), and had bitten someone who tried to get him to leave. She said he had mental issues and did not want him to return.
Statesboro Police Department
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A suspect was stopped and arrested for shoplifting a $35 blender.
    Another person in a separate incident tried leaving without paying for $7 worth of ground chuck, Gatorade priced at $1.68, Airhead candy priced at $2.28 and another kind of candy valued at $2.48.
    A third shoplifting suspect was arrested after concealing $22 worth of food and $30 worth of unspecified property.
    In yet another incident, someone was arrested after shoplifting $27 worth of unspecified property.
    LANIER DRIVE — Police responded to a report of a person threatening another.

    Officers issued two traffic citations and one traffic warning and assisted two motorists.
