    LANIER DRIVE — A man said someone stole a set of golf clubs from his vehicle.
    KMART — A woman was charged with second offense shoplifting after trying to leave without paying for about $130 worth of clothing she concealed in a purse.
    JC PENNEY — A woman choked another during a “discussion” about a return policy.
SEASONS APARTMENTS — A man sent threatening texts and voice mail messages to a woman.
    UNIVERSITY PLAZA — A man said he was involved in a fight with another man after being attacked by three unknown males.
    OVERLAND STREET — A woman reported receiving threatening messages from a man.
    NORTH COLLEGE STREET — A woman threatened to cut a man with a knife during an argument.

Incidents
    MEADOW DRIVE —(Statesboro) A man broke a window trying to get a woman’s attention to let him in. He was intoxicated and pointed a finger at a deputy, cursing him before getting arrested.
    HOMER BUNCH ROAD — (Statesboro) Two women and a man were riding when they stopped for the man to urinate. An approaching truck appeared and what sounded like a gunshot was heard. The man who was outside the vehicle for a nature break ran into the woods and deputies later found him at his home.

    Collins Gantt Lairsey, 20, Country Club Road — underage possession of alcohol.
    Cameron Douglas Naab, 22, Lanier Drive — DUI, possession of marijuana, driving with suspended license and reckless driving.
    David Christopher Wilson, 20, Lanier Drive — underage possession of alcohol, disorderly conduct and obstruction of an officer.
    Edward N. Mwangi, 20, Lanier Drive — underage possession of alcohol, disorderly conduct and possession of a false I.D.
 
Incidents
    Officers issued seven traffic warnings, assisted six motorists, responded to two sick person calls, one injured person call and responded to three alarms Thursday.
