▲ EAGLE ESTATES MOPBILE HOME PARK — A man and woman complained of five juveniles breaking the lock to the clubhouse and leaving marijuana “shake” and condom wrappers inside.

▲ WILLIAMS ROAD — Video footage led to a man being arrested on simple battery charges.

▲ BLUE JACK ROAD — Someone was arrested due to a domestic dispute elsewhere involving simple battery and disorderly conduct.

▲ STEEPLECHASE COURT —A woman called law enforcement because she was angry after catching her boyfriend “Facetiming” another woman. The dispute was not physical, but she said she accidentally hit the man in the face with her finger.


➤ Statesboro Police Department 

▲ NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — Someone reported the theft of vehicle parts and accessories.

▲ NORTH MAIN STREET/QUIK STOP — A clerk reported the theft of several lottery tickets.

▲ BRASWELL HOMES — Officers responded to a verbal dispute.


➤ Georgia State Patrol Post 45

▲ Last week, troopers responded to 21 crashes with seven reported injuries and arrested eight drivers on DUI charges.

▲ Troopers also issued 15 citations and two warnings for seat belt violations, one citation for child restraint violations, and 21 citations and 19 warnings for speeding. 


➤ Georgia Southern University Police 

▲ Officers issued three traffic citations and two traffic warnings and assisted seven motorists.

▲ SOUTH CAMPUS — Someone reported a suspicious person.

▲ CENTENNIAL PLACE — Someone was judicially referred to university authorities for discipline over a drug complaint. The person was not criminally charged.

▲ SOUTHERN PINES — Officers responded to a domestic dispute.

▲ LOT 42 — Someone reported a suspicious person.

▲ WATSON PODS — Someone was judicially referred to university authorities for discipline over a drug complaint. The person was not criminally charged.
