STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Tyler Samuel Turner, 28, Sylvania — armed robbery, possession of firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and false imprisonment.
    Jackie Raykenya Scott, 34, Sylvania — armed robbery, possession of firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and false imprisonment.

Incidents
    PLANTATION VILLAS — A woman called police because someone wrote expletives in the dew on her vehicle.
    ALLTELL — A man reported that a customer threatened him.
    BRANNEN STREET — A woman said someone broke into her home and ransacked it but did not take anything.
    CHURCH STREET — A man said a woman continuously calls him and threatens to bring others to beat him up.
    SIMMONS SHOPPING CENTER — Police responded to a call for a welfare check regarding a domestic dispute.

    Willie Floyd Holland, 22, Halcyondale Road, Sylvania — probation violation.

    PLANTER’S LANE (Statesboro) — A woman reported a commercial trash can stolen.
    EL CHEAPO/U.S. HIGHWAY 80 WEST (Statesboro) — A man selling fat lighter found a Batman mask and a glove behind the store. He reported the find in case the items were evidence to crime.
    COACHES WAY — (Statesboro) A woman said someone took two beach chairs from her garage, left two broken eggs in her driveway and left a note written in red ink stating she and the mysterious person should get together soon.
    GEORGIA HIGHWAY 67 — (Statesboro) A man said someone stole dishes and propane  tanks from his home.
    BUIE DRIGGERS ROAD — (Brooklet) A man reported the theft of harrows.
    MUD ROAD — (Brooklet) A woman reported someone drove by her house and fired shots.

    Brittani Krystin Hill, 22, Stone Mountain — theft by taking.

Incidents
    Officers issued two traffic warnings and assisted five motorists Tuesday.
    CERAMICS STUDIO — Officers responded to the ceramics studio in reference to a fire alarm.  Statesboro Fire Department was notified and responded.  The alarm was activated by a smoking kiln.
