Police report, 1/15/19
A woman said a man harassed her by text message and stopped at her residence, where she was talking to another man, and threatened to beat the other man. Deputies spoke with the offender, who said he was angry because the woman had “done him wrong.”

▲ LANGSTON CHAPEL ROAD — A woman put her and her boyfriend’s dogs outside on cables, but they escaped. A video camera at Parker’s a distance away showed the dogs, and showed a man taking one of them into his car.

▲ RAILROAD JUNCTION — A woman said a man harassed her by text message and stopped at her residence, where she was talking to another man, and threatened to beat the other man. Deputies spoke with the offender, who said he was angry because the woman had “done him wrong.”

▲ PULASKI ROAD — A woman told deputies she housed patients of Pineland Mental Health and Substance Abuse, and a man was angry because his cigarettes were limited. He swung a board and threatened others, she said.

▲ CYPRESS LAKE DRIVE — An ongoing investigation is taking place regarding allegations of sexual battery against a child.

▲ KEVIN DEAL ROAD — A man saw a suspicious truck in a field on his property. He then saw a car pull up, someone get into the truck and both vehicles leave at a high rate of speed, he told deputies.

➤ Statesboro Police Department 

▲ LANIER DRIVE — Someone reported property damage due to criminal trespass.

In a separate incident, a person complained that a roommate’s girlfriend, who was not on the lease, was living there and not paying anything.

▲ NORTH NELSON WAY — Warrants were issued for violation of a criminal trespass warning when deputies responded to a dispute.
