STATESBORO POLICE
Arrests
    Kyle Stephen Mayo, 20, Highgrove Road, Alpharetta — too fast for conditions, no proof of insurance, DUI under 21, underage possession of alcohol.
    Denzail Jerrico McBride, 19, Deer Run Court — theft by shoplifting.
    Levert M. Omoniyi, 23, College Lane — felony theft by receiving stolen property, carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a pistol without a license, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession/use of a drug related object.
    Deionte Rashad Leonard, 18, Park Place Apartments — battery, obstruction.
    Brianna Edenfield, 17, Perch Road — driving on the wrong side of the roadway, DUI.
    Jeffrey Devon Eason, 33, Gordon Street — battery, third degree cruelty to children.

Incidents
    THE AVENUE AT SOUTHERN — a laptop and external hard drive were stolen.
    GARY’S FOOD MART — A woman said someone stole a purse containing a camera, earrings and food stamps.
    CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN — A Nintendo DS and iPod Touch, both pink, plus a tote bag and makeup were stolen from a car.
A wallet and tote bag were stolen from another car.
    THE COVE AT SOUTHERN — Two TVs were reported stolen.
    PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — A woman said her boyfriend struck her in the head several times leaving visible injuries. He was arrested.
    VETERAN’S MEMORIAL PARKWAY — A teenager was arrested for driving drunk, on the wrong side of the road.
    EASTVIEW APARTMENTS — A man said he fought in the parking lot with at least one other man, but refused to cooperate with police and refused medical treatment for injuries.
    THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN — A woman said she heard people break into her apartment, but stayed in the bedroom. When they kicked in her door, she screamed and they fled, but took a notebook, laptop computer, iPod and Xbox 360.
    THE AVENUE AT SOUTHERN — A man said $800 was stolen from a book bag.
    THE EXCHANGE — A man said $200, and iPod and stereo/CD player were stolen from his cr.
    TITLE PAWN — A woman said a man snatched her purse and fled.
    TURNER STREET — A man was sprayed with pepper spray during a fight. The offender fled and the victim was treated at the scene by EMS.
    SOUTH WALNUT STREET — A man and woman were both arrested for public intoxication after an argument.
    CARMEL DRIVE — A man said a dog bit him, but the dog owner said the man was injured by the fence he climbed.

    Officers issued nine traffic citations over the weekend.
      John Dylan Coleman, 18,  Paddington Lane West, Indianapolis, IN — sale of marijuana, manufacture, distribution or possession of Controlled Substance in/near a school zone, unlawful use of communication facilities.

Incidents
    Officers issued 11 traffic warnings, assisted 13 motorists, and responded to four alarms Friday through Sunday.
    PARKING/TRANS-PORTATION — A parking boot was reported stolen.
    UNDISCLOSED CAMPUS LOCATION — Officers responded to a call of an animal locked in a vehicle.
    RUSSELL UNION — A cell phone and lap book were reported as lost.
    LAKESIDE CAFÉ — A student I.D. was reported as lost/mislaid.
    SOUTHERN PINES — Officers responded to a drug complaint.
    PI KAPPA PHI HOUSE — Officers responded in reference to a suspicious incident.  The front door was open and the telephone cables appeared to be pulled away from the house.
