Deputies found a burning vehicle that turned out to have been stolen from Effingham County.

INCIDENT REPORTS

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ HOLLOW OAK COURT – A man went outside and used his remote to unlock his truck. When he did so, a man ran from behind his truck, behind his house and through some woods.  Deputies did not locate the suspect.

▲ GREENHAVEN MOBILE HOME PARK – Deputies responded to a dispute among roommates over locks being changed and two victims not being allowed back in the house to get belongings.

▲ BURKHALTER ROAD – A person was cited for riding a four-wheeler on private property without permission.

▲ PIONEER TRAIL – A woman was arrested on battery charges after family dispute.

▲ MUD ROAD/IVANHOE JUNCTION - Deputies found a burning vehicle that turned out to have been stolen from Effingham County.

▲ BRANNEN DRIVE –A man said he was inside his home when someone rattled the door knob as if they were trying to get in. No suspect was located.

 

➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ EAST JONES AVENUE – A woman said her husband punched her in the eye. A separate report stated a man said a woman struck him in the face.

▲ BRAMPTON AVENUE – A woman reported a wallet stolen.

▲ NORTH MAIN STREET – A man said he argued verbally with a woman over child care.

▲ INSTITUTE STREET – A woman said someone stole her clothes and refused to return them.

▲ CENTRAL STREET – A man reported damage to his door.

▲ LOCO’S DELI AND PUB – A man was arrested for stealing a bicycle from the restaurant location.

▲ CHANDLER ROAD – Police arrested a person involved in a physical dispute.

▲ LANIER DRIVE – A man was arrested after a physical dispute with his boyfriend that caused the victim visible injuries.

 

➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted no motorists Tuesday.

▲ FREEDOM’S LANDING – Officers responded to a reported rape incident. The Herald has requested reports on the case and information will be published upon receipt.  As of Wednesday, GS police had not yet provided a report on a different rape case reported over the weekend.
